An early collaborator with the likes of Grand Daddy IU, Kool G Rap and The Notorious B.I.G, New York based emcee Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard (or just Pudgee) signed with Giant Records in the early 90s and got his start with
Trackmasters who became his main producers. Pudgee’s debut single “Checkin’ Out The Ave” paved the way for his 1993 debut LP “Give ‘Em The Finger”.The album was very well received among hip-hop fans but faired little success leading to Giant releasing Pudgee from his contract. From there on, Pudgee released several 12-inches in the late 90s, including “Think Big” on
Perspective Records. This piece of vinyl right here was put out by Street Scene with “Money Don’t Make The World Stop” which features Pudgee along with D-Nice,
Funkmaster Flex, M.O.P. and Royal Flush produced by Chris Large (Mic Geronimo, Shaquille O’Neil). The b-side, however, is arguably the winner holding “History” produced by Nick Wiz.
